Advisors devote most of their time to analyzing and preparing technical written material. For example, the preparation and prosecution of patent applications may include claim drafting, drafting of specifications of an invention, and development of technical drawings and diagrams. In support of litigation, you may be called upon to analyze technical documents and opinions, assist in the selection of expert witnesses and preparation of expert reports, and help analyze technical arguments.
